One More Thought

I realized that after I published my first blog that I forget to include that I also Romance, Superromance, Spice, all the Inspirational lines, Spice Briefs, Nocturne Bites, Historical Undone and the Back list from Harlequin e-Books.  In other words, pretty much anything Harlequin puts out.  I have also discovered their digital only line called Carina Press.  I know you are probably saying to yourself, when does she eat, sleep, work and live?  Trust me, I do all of that and more.  I have my reading time at night before I go to bed and on the weekends.  When I talk to people about my reading habit I remind them that you have to make the time to read and I do and my hubby understands that reading is my downtime and my hobby.  He cooks and I read.  Our son is learning to read and I sit and read with him.  He likes to bring my book from my nightstand and then he gets his book and we read together.  I've always been a reader and will continue to keep reading.

Until next time, keep reading........................

Opening Muse

Okay, here goes, my first blog about Harlequin books and authors.  First I would like to introduce myself and why I started this blog.  I live in East Texas but not too far from Dallas, married and have one son in kindergarten.  I honestly didn't start reading Harlequin books until I moved her 4 years ago and was bored out of my mind living in a such a small town and not knowing anyone.  I used to snicker when I saw Harlie books in the store.  Mostly it was the covers that made me laugh but then one day at our Wal-Mart, I picked up a book from their Romantic Suspense line and was completely and totally hooked.

I have since joined their Reader Service program and get the following lines delivered right to my home:  Presents, Intrigue, Blaze, American Romance, and Historical.  I also buy the Romantic Suspense and Desire books when available at my local store and if not, I order it directly from them.  I soon discovered that their seemed to be some very popular authors that used to write for Harlequin and have combed used books store, garage sales and the like for their earlier books and discovered even more authors that I would not have ever heard of, much less read unless I bought that one book from Wal-Mart.

My hubby keeps asking me if there was a way that I could make money from all the reading that I do and I keep telling him that it would be nice but I doubt it.  So here I am and at least reviewing the books that I read every month and some reviews from some hidden gems that I found along the way in my reading from them.  Trust me, there are alot of hidden gems out there.

So forgive me now if you don't agree with my review but remember its just my opinion and feel free to agree or disagree with me.  I welcome any comments and suggestions that anyone has regarding this blog, so don't be shy in doing so.

I look forward to more posts and comments from me and you!
